Can I still order the thermal transfer ribbons I have ordered before?

Yes, you can still order the thermal transfer ribbons in the same quality you have ordered before. Only the item number and the look of the protection foil (leader tape) wrapped around the ribbon roll have changed due to our transition from the Avery Dennison business line Industrial Print & Apply to NOVEXX Solutions. The product itself remains the same. Please be aware that you will achieve the same premium print results as you are used to. New look, new name, new item number – but same quality!


Why is there a new item number for thermal transfer ribbons?

This change is part of our transition from the Avery Dennison business line Industrial Print & Apply to NOVEXX Solutions in June 2015. Please be aware that this change only concerns the item numbering system – the product and quality are exactly the same!


Where can I find the new item number that replaces the old number?

We have sent you an individual communication where you can find both numbers of the ribbon listed next to each other. In addition, during the transition period you can find both numbers on the packaging label on the box and the product. Furthermore, you can find both numbers on all commercial documents, e.g. quotations, order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices.

I have a ribbon frame contract with NOVEXX Solutions. What happens to that contract when there is a change of item numbers?

Your ribbon frame contract has automatically been changed to the new item numbering system, so you don’t have to take any action. We have sent you more details on this topic in an individual communication.


The thermal transfer ribbon I have ordered looks different now. Is it another product?

No! Only the protection foil (leader tape) wrapped around the ribbon roll got a new look. It is a red NOVEXX Solutions tape now. This does not influence the quality of the product itself.
Please note that some items could still have neutral packaging and leader tape.


Can you assure the quality of the ribbon is still the same?

Yes, we guarantee that there is no change in quality. Your print results will still be of highest quality. If you are insecure of that, feel free to request a quality confirmation certificate from your known sales contact.


I’m interested in ribbons in another print width for my installed base, but I am not sure NOVEXX Solutions provides these ribbons. What can I do?

In addition to the changes mentioned above we have also optimized our ribbon portfolio for you. If you need further qualities or widths for your installed base (regardless of printer type), we are more than happy to support you.


Do these changes also concern hardware?

The rebranding of our hardware to NOVEXX Solutions is in progress and will be launched beginning of 2016. The item numbers of our hardware will remain the same but the products will be branded as NOVEXX Solutions.
